Heex~!!! Well, where should I start? From where I left off? Hmmm ok then... Here goes...
Friday, I had this strangest dream about receiving a phone call to say that I've been accepted for a job. [i]Yup, since I've been sending in uncountable sums of resume via email and making phone calls and etcetera... but receiving no replies...[/i]Then I was suddenly joltedly awoken by my mobile's ring.... [i]In somnis veritas[/i]... Somehow, there was some real truth in that dream I had :) Yeah, got hold ([i]thought so[/i]) of a hostel receptionist's position. They told me to go over their place the next day at 2.00pm. Yeah, I was totally ecstatic about it. Man, it was like the effort paid off after all!
Yeah then I went out with my dear Mummy to have our late brunch, since I woke up only about 12.00+pm. We even went to the hostel to check out the area ([i]like totally into it..lol[/i]). Yeah, saw plenty of Westerners and that got me curious...
[b][i]Finally[/i][/b] went to Parkway Parade, after like 2 whole weeks away from the place. Yeah and... [i]*giggles*[/i] [i][b]Finally[/b][/i] saw the cute chix rice stall guy again!!! Boy, it was hilarious~~~ He didn't actually recognise me until he looked a second time. LOL cos' I got a haircut the day after I quit. Oh geeeeee.... he's so cute. Yeah... I admit this is a little stupid but I kinda admired him from afar, the whole time when I was having my brunch with dear Mummy. Well, of course my Mummy just couldn't stand my utter silliness~ :lol: Her hair was practically standing~~~ lolz That was the best day I had so far... Totally smitten again~~~ :oops: Then we went a lil' shopping here and there... Bought home-packed ice cream from New Zealand's ice cream. [i](they're good ya noe...shld try em some day~~)[/i]Went home by cab...
Btw... dear Hansel just got released today~ lol... the poor dear... but he msged me so late...he woke me up from my deep slumber and I had a terrible headache till I couldn't get back to sleep -________-" argh...nvm
Saturday, I was all up and awake and excited for the new job thingey~ Yeah, dressed up smartly and stuff :roll: Went there a wee bit early and had to wait and wait till' 2.00pm sharp. -______-" Was then called in...and guess what? [i][b]IT WAS ONLY AN INTERVIEW[/b][/i]...O gee...why didn't they mention that part on the phone? Man...yeah they told me that they [b]might[/b] call me up for the job around night time or the next morning... Alas, no calls in the night... Next morning, maybe??? So I practically spent the rest of the day wandering around TPY and back home in front of the pc reading comics... :(
Sunday... Waited in vain... No phone calls... They lied... Oh well, these people lie all the time saying they'll call you, but they don't. Well, who asked them to make empty promises? If they're not happy with me, could have said so straight off, right? Gee... people... To think I spent 30min on that interview. Disappointing. So went out with dear Shan since all the other people were packed for the day. Planned on jogging together at YCK stadium, but it rained that evening. So we went straight to have dinner at Orchard. Nothing much, KFC again... lol~ Oh well, yeah... Chatted while we talked and walked and pondering whether I should actually get the botak guys belated bday presents~ [b][i]hmmm....[/i][/b]
So far, had some interesting sms chats with my dear botak guys. But well, they may just be chatting me up and nothing else. No strings attached~? [i][Yup, oh well, friends will always be friends. Rather than getting involved in broken relationships, which are harder to mend]<--- [/i]Yeah, so far I've learnt this truth :) I guess I'll stick by it for now...> Oh yeah... I finally met dear dude pal online this weekend :lol: Guess he takes a break during the weekend. Besides, he misses the webbie~ :lol: Yeah... will be meeting him this coming week to give him some of my old study notes. Hope he finds them useful while he mugs :)
